This book contain many of the photographer's favourite pictures taken since 2003, with a few vintage (post-1982) shots included. Locations range from the West Coast of Ireland to the East Coast of China.
Most of the pictures were taken in the public domain between 2003 and 2006. They are well-observed and generally humorous, sometimes iconic, sometimes a little rude. As the photographer says "it's what you see in the street. I just happened to have a camera in my hand." The pictures are grouped into headings and there are notes about each one.
David Rose is a professional photographer and author who lived in Tankerton-on-Sea between 1999 and 2006. This is his second volume of photographs and is a companion volume to Seaside Frolics: Whitstable, Tankerton & Herne Bay.
