We will also produce them in eBook format (MobiPocket and .pdf in particular because of their ability to show pictures and graphics).

RoseTintedSpecs Imprint

The RoseTintedSpecs Imprint was established in 1999 and published poetry. Several audio and eBook titles are planned for 2009. This aspect of RoseTintedSpecs will showcase some of David's writing and possibly in 2009, hitherto unpublished material of others also. We will also re-issue some interesting classics. It will remain a small site with a personal and distinctive selection of books with no re-seller site links.

Interest in audiobooks and eBooks is gaining momentum. Listening to, or reading from tiny mp3 players and PDAs has become second nature. The gadgets are practical and discreet and complement reading from paper pages.

Audiobooks are good while lying in bed, in garish sunlight and while travelling. Any instances, in fact, in which you might want to shut your eyes, or use them for something else, while relaxing. A pleasing aspect will be the personal nature of the titles read mostly by the author with the occasional 'aside'.

eBooks are discreet, compact and easy to read. They have the added dimension of multimedia. You can annotate, highlight, bookmark and hyperlink as well as customise onscreen appearance.
